Ridge Vineyards Paso Robles Zinfandel 2016
Deep garnet color. Black cherry fruit aromas and scented barrel spice. Rich bramble fruit on entry, medium body, integrated tannins and lively acidity, a long, opulent finish.
|Region||California, Central Coast, Paso Robles|
Wine SpectatorAppealingly old-school, with briary black cherry and smoky pepper beef flavors. A whiff of coconut helps build zestiness on the long finish. Drink now through 2024. 4,000 cases made.
The Crane Assembly Disciples 2014Dark crimson in color, the strong, classic Zinfandel aromas of briar fruit and wild strawberries jump out of the glass and are complemented by hints of wet forest floor and high mountain forest. The entry gives way to a rich and textured mid palate of Mexican chocolate, brambly raspberry and a lengthy, caramelized crème Anglaise finish. This wine is a unique expression of old vine Zinfandel grown in the gravel-rich alluvial soils at the base of the Mayacamas mountain range.

Warm, soft and very well balanced on the palate; well structured with soft tannins and long aftertaste. Great companion to roasted and stewed game meat. Excellent with mature cheeses and traditional handmade pasta featuring red meat and game ragout.

Finca Decero Remolinos Vineyard Malbec 20172017 Decero Malbec continues in the style that characterises our Remolinos Vineyard - displaying intense violet aromas over a core of red fruits with notes of cherries and raspberries. A medium-bodied, very well balanced wine with fresh acidity, it shows supple and elegant tannins that benefit from 14 months maturation in French oak barrels.
