Tommasi Le Rosse Pinot Grigio 2015
The vineyard rows are planted extremely close together and receive intense pruning, resulting in low yields and excellent richness. The wine is fermented entirely in stainless steel. The nose is spicy with hints of tropical fruit, the flavors clean and crisp, and the body round and soft with a crisp finish. This Valpolicella Pinot Grigio can be described as sitting between the richer, more concentrated Pinot Grigio from Friuli to the north, and racier styles from the Veneto at large. Excellent with appetizers, soups and fish.
