Beaux Freres The Beaux Frères Vineyard Pinot Noir 2013

A bit darker, Medium ruby to red. The nose is of fresh red Oregon fruits & berries, a cherry aromatic is supported by more cola spice and a touch of subtle oak. This is a finesse styled Beaux Freres. Medium bodied with light-sweet tannins, very good purity and depth. The texture here is beguiling as well. Difficult to resist drinking now but will continue to evolve and improve until at least 2023. Originally Mike farmed it conventionally but about 12 years ago started experimenting with nonconventional farming methods and now our entire property is being farmed using biodynamic principles. We are not certified either organic or biodynamic but we invite you to visit our farm (by appointment please) and see our farming practices firsthand.
