As the 2022 Zingari opens in the glass, a burst of savory herbs gives way to crushed blackberries tinged with a spike of sour citrus. This is soft-textured and round, with bright acidity that helps to enliven its core of ripe wild berries, all offset by a hint of tangerine toward the close. The Zingari finishes with medium length, gently tannic, leaving resonant nuances of blueberry and licorice. This blend of Merlot, Sangiovese, Syrah and Petit Verdot aims to please.
