The 2017 Poggio Badiola (Sangiovese/Merlot) is soft, fruity and easygoing, all of which make it an excellent choice for drinking now and over the next few years. In 2017, Poggio Badiola has a bit more fleshiness in its red berry fruit than normal, which is not at all bad for an entry-level offering.
