Ego Bodegas Goru Gold Red Blend 2017
Gamet with a high layer, intense and bright. High aromatic complexity where the aromas of ripe black fruit are wrapped by the spicy and balsamic smell from the wood. Soft and voluptuous entry on palate. A polished and structured tannin that prolongs the persistence in the mouth and the aromatic flavours perceived in the nose. Pairs well with grilled red meats, poultry, stews, legumes, semi-cured and cured cheeses, fish stews, Jumillano gazpacho and Iberian sausages.
This red is sleek and solid, in the modern style. Bright cherry, berry and currant flavors mingle with licorice, black tea and mineral notes, giving way to a floral and minerally finish. The firm tannins are well-integrated and juicy acidity keeps this lively. Mourvèdre, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Drink now through 2029. 7,400 cases made, 2,200 cases imported.
Ripe, rubbery berry aromas are warm and oaky, with a chocolaty backing. A thick, grabby palate is par for the course in Jumilla, while this blend of Monastrell, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah tastes a lot like it smells: chocolaty and rich, with effusive creamy vanilla. A loaded and pulpy finish is tannnic.
