The second wine of Chateau Monbousquet, the 2018 Angélique De Monbousquet is a blend of 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Deeply colored with notes of smoked black cherries, chocolate, graphite, and crushed rocks, it's rich, medium to full-bodied, and beautifully textured, with plenty of tannins and a great finish.

The 2018 Angélique de Monbousquet has a dense and powerful bouquet with precocious black cherry and boysenberry jam aromas. The palate is very powerful with saturated tannins, dense black fruit laced with clove and graphite with a grippy finish that just needs more freshness and delineation.
