The 2019 No. 1 is a soft, plush wine with no hard edges and plenty of appeal. Inky dark cherry, plum, crème de cassis, mocha, chocolate, sweet French oak and espresso all run through this sumptuous, racy Côtes de Blaye. The is a dramatic, exotic and virile, with tons of personality.
