Dark red with dark purple highlights. Pleasant nose opening up to red and black berry fruit notes of blackcurrant and strawberry. The palate is precise and supported by well-integrated tannins. Pleasant fruit and spice aromatics are present throughout.
Pair with grilled rack of lam, red meat, ceps in parsley, grilled duck breast and strong cheeses.

The 2018 Château de Panigon demonstrates a little reduction on the nose, although underneath it reveals light, slightly briny black fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly rustic tannins and decent weight and cedar- tinged black fruit on the tightly wound finish. Fine.
